Public Notice – WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION DUE TO MAINTENANCE WORK BY GTM – 08 April 2024
Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform all customers about an upcoming scheduled maintenance activity that will affect the water supply to certain areas within the municipality.
Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality has issued a notice to Lepelle Northern Water regarding scheduled power outages on the Ebenezer 33kV feeder. These outages are necessary to conduct essential repairs and maintenance.
Schedule:
- Dates: Every Wednesday and Friday
- Time: 06h00 to 12h00
- Duration: 10th April to 24th May 2024
The maintenance work will have a negative impact on water supply to the following within Polokwane Municipality:
- Mankweng,
- City including Flora Park,
- Fauna Park,
- Bendor,
- Sterpark,
- Moeregloed,
- parts of Ladanna,
- Nirvana, and
- Ivy Park.
During this period, water tankers will be deployed to assist all affected areas. Polokwane Municipality urges all customers to utilize these resources and to store an adequate supply of water for essential needs during the specified maintenance hours.
