In Seshego today, the Executive Mayor of Polokwane, Cllr Makoro John Mpe chose clarity over conjecture and action over anxiety.

 

No filters, no theatrics — just municipal water, poured and proudly consumed.

 

The gesture said it all: the water we have is quite alright.

 

In an era where rumours travel faster than facts, this was leadership by example – a lived assurance that Polokwane’s municipal water is safe for human consumption.

 

Sometimes, the strongest response is not what you say, but what you are prepared to drink.
