WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN PARTS OF POLOKWANE
Polokwane Municipality is aware that some areas within the city are currently experiencing water shortage, while others are facing low water pressure. This is due to a cracked water pipe along the R37 road/Church Street.
Our technical team is already on site attending to the issue and working to repair the damaged infrastructure.
However, there is currently no estimated time for the completion of the repairs.
The following areas are affected:
- Fauna Park
- Penina Park
- Ivydale
- Ivy Park
- Extension 34
- Surrounding areas
Alternative water supply is being provided through water tankers as a temporary relief measure to all affected areas.
Polokwane Municipality apologises for the inconvenience and appreciates patience of all affected stakeholders.
Normal water supply will be restored once repairs are completed.
For updates and enquiries, please contact our Water and Sanitation Call Centre at 015 290 2376 or report issues via the MyPolokwane Citizen App or send WhatsApp text to 068 290 8736.
End!
