ROAD CLOSURES AHEAD OF THE STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform all motorists, businesses and residents of planned
road closures and traffic adjustments due to the State of the City Address (SOCA) proceedings scheduled for Thursday, 05 June 2025.

The following temporary road closures will occur during the event proceedings:

• Bodenstein Street will be closed from Landros Mare Street to General Joubert Street.
• A parade will take place starting from the SABC Park at 08:30, proceeding towards Jack Botes Hall. During this time, the intersection connecting Landros Mare Street will be temporarily closed and reopened to traffic as the parade moves through.

Law enforcement officers will be on site to manage traffic flow and ensure safety for all road
users.

Motorists are kindly urged to plan ahead and make use of alternative routes during the event
to avoid delays.

The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience.
