EARLY CLOSURE OF BUDGET AND TREASURY DIRECTORATE – 15 DECEMBER 2025

 

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform members of the public that the Budget and Treasury Directorate, including the Rates Hall, will close early at 12h30 on Monday, 15 December 2025.

 

This temporary closure is due to internal directorate activities involving all officials within the department.

 

All services will resume on Wednesday, 17 December 2025. The municipality sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates understanding and cooperation of all affected customers.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICES

 

Residents may continue to make payments through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT); Pick n Pay; Shoprite/Checkers; Spar Supermarkets; Woolworths; Boxer; and Post Office.

 

PURCHASING PREPAID WATER AND ELECTRICITY

•  7/11 Shop at corner Marshall and Dorp Streets;
• Cellphone purchase platforms; and
•  Spar Supermarkets.

Polokwane Municipality encourages customers to make use of these alternative options during the temporary closure.
