DISRUPTION OF WATER SUPPLY IN POLOKWANE MUNICIPALITY

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform its residents and businesses that water supply has been affected due to the non-pumping of water from the Olifantspoort Plant. This disruption is attributed to a cooling pump failure that occurred at approximately 02h00 this morning, as communicated by Lepelle Northern Water (LNW).

Lepelle Northern Water has assured the municipality that the issue has been reported to their electrician and is receiving urgent attention. Water supply to Polokwane will be restored once the matter has been fully resolved.

The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
