CLEAN HANDS, SAFE ROADS

 

Today, the Traffic and Licensing office of Polokwane Municipality has pulled up its sleeves and gathered the movers and shakers of the transport sector at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium and it’s not for a match, but for a much-needed reality check.

Driving school owners, traffic officers, law enforcement agencies and key stakeholders have come together under one roof to tackle the elephant in the room: fraud, bribery and corruption. Because let’s be honest, when the rules of the road are bent, it’s the public that pays the price.

This is a collective effort to sharpen understanding of the law, confront the challenges head-on and close the loopholes that allow misconduct to creep in. In this space, knowledge is power and integrity is non-negotiable.
