SLOW NETWORK CONNECTIVITY AT TRAFFIC AND LICENSING CENTRES – NATIS SYSTEM

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform all stakeholders and valued customers that its Traffic and Licensing Centres are currently experiencing slow network connectivity affecting the National Traffic Information System (NATIS). As a result, customers may experience prolonged waiting times for certain services that require the NATIS system.

The municipality has reported the matter to the Provincial Department of Transport and Community Safety, who have confirmed that this is a nationwide system issue.

Kindly note that essential services, including the collection of driving licences, continue to operate uninterrupted.

The municipality urges all customers to exercise patience and understanding while using municipal Traffic and Licensing Centres as the Department of Transport works to restore full system functionality.
