PLANNED POWER OUTAGE IMPACTING EBENEZER WATER SCHEME

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform residents and stakeholders that it has received official communication from Lepelle Northern Water regarding a planned power outage by Eskom on the line feeding the Ebenezer Scheme.

 

The power outage is scheduled for:

• Sunday, 14 September 2025
• 06h00 – 18h00

As a direct result of this outage, supply of water from the Ebenezer Scheme to Polokwane Municipality will be disrupted affecting all areas from Segwashi, Boyne, Mentz, Mankweng to City and Seshego.

The municipality urges residents in the affected areas to use water sparingly and make the necessary storage arrangements ahead of the planned outage. Updates will be provided should there be any developments to the schedule.

Polokwane Municipality apologises for the inconvenience this may cause.
