Public Notice – WATER SUPPLY STOPPAGE FROM OLIFANTS LINE – 11 May 2024

 

Olifantspoort Plant line is currently experiencing a pipe leak, impacting water supply to the Polokwane. Lepelle Northern Water has communicated the necessity to halt plant operations for repair, with an estimated completion time of 5 hours from 11h07.

Reservoir levels are critically low:
– Potgiter: 1%
– 50Ml Krugersburg: 0%
– 30Ml Dome: 0%
– 30Ml Flat: 3%
– Seshego: 11%

 

To mitigate the impact of this disruption, the municipality urges all affected areas to utilize water sparingly until normal supply is restored.

 

Polokwane Municipality apologizes for the inconvenience caused and greatly appreciates cooperation of all affected customers during this challenging time.
