PUBLIC NOTICE – UPDATE ON ELECTRICITY RESTORATION IN MADIBA PARK – 13 March 2024

 

Larger part of Madiba Park has electricity restored following a cable fault. However, certain areas, including Sasol filling station, Cashbuild, and Hlosi and Phiri Streets, are still experiencing power outage due to ongoing challenge with theirmini-substation.

It is estimated that these remaining areas will have their electricity restored by Thursday, 14 March 2024 as the municipality works diligently to resolve the issue.

In the meantime, Polokwane Municipality advises all affected customers to treat all electrical wiring as live and to switch off all appliances to avoid injury and damage once the supply is restored.

The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures affected users that maintenance team is working tirelessly to expedite the restoration process.
