WATER SUPPLY CONSTRAINTS – KRUGERSBURG RESERVOIRS
Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform residents that the Krugersburg Reservoir system is currently operating at critically low levels. The 30ML D and 30ML F Reservoirs have been severely impacted due to water demand exceeding available supply, resulting in depleted reservoir levels and pressure challenges.
As a result, residents in the following areas may experience low water pressure or intermittent water supply:
- Bendor
- Fauna Park
- Flora Park
- Moeregloed
- Serala View
- Sterpark
To stabilise the system and allow the reservoirs to recover, nightly water supply interruptions will be implemented from 20:30 to 04:30, effective immediately until further notice.
Residents are strongly urged to use water sparingly during this period. Responsible consumption is critical to restoring system capacity and preventing prolonged disruptions.
Polokwane Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
