WASTE DISPOSAL CHARGE AT WELTEVREDEN AND AGANANG LANDFILL SITES

Notice is hereby given in terms of provision of Provincial gazette no 3003 of the Local Authority Notice 69 of 2019. Polokwane Municipality Waste Management By-laws, chapter 7 (vi) indicates that “before leaving the disposal site, ensure to pay the applicable tariff in respect of the waste disposed or comply with any prior arrangements made with the Municipality with regards to the payment of the applicable tariff”

Effective from 01 October 2025, disposal charge fee of R76.12 per ton at Weltevreden and Aganang landfill sites will be applicable to individuals, companies and business. Waste disposal charges from the landfill site will be billed to the client’s municipal account. Clients without an active municipal account will be required to pay a deposit.
