UPDATE: PLANNED ELECTRICITY SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – SESHEGO AREA
Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform residents and businesses in the entire
Seshego area that the planned electricity supply interruption by Eskom, originally
scheduled to begin at 07h00 today, was implemented an hour later at 08h00.
Due to the delayed start, electricity supply is now anticipated to be restored at
18h00, instead of the initially communicated 17h00.
The interruption is a result of planned maintenance work by Eskom at the Pietersburg Seshego 66kV substation. Eskom will restore electricity supply immediately upon completion of the maintenance work.
Polokwane Municipality urges all residents to treat all electrical wiring and
installations as live at all times and to switch off all appliances during the outage
to avoid injury, loss of life or damage to property when power is restored.
The municipality apologises for the inconvenience and appreciates the continued
patience and cooperation of all affected residents and businesses.
