POLOKWANE MUNICIPALITY INDIGENT REGISTRATION PROGRAMME – WARDS 25 AND 26 (MANKWENG)
Polokwane Municipality invites all qualifying residents of Ward 25 and Ward 26 in
Mankweng to register for the Indigent Subsidy Programme, as per the schedule below.
This initiative aims to provide much-needed support to households in financial distress, in line with the Approved Indigent Policy.
To apply for the subsidy, applicants must:
Be 18 years or older
Be a South African citizen
Have a combined household income of R5,740 or less per month
Registration dates and venues:
Additional municipal services available on-site include account-related enquiries,
assistance with payment arrangements, printing of monthly account statements, indigent status enquiries and general municipal queries.
Documents required:
South African Identity Document (ID)
Affidavit confirming household circumstances
Proof of income (e.g. SASSA letter or recent bank statement)
Municipal billing statement
Marriage certificate (if applicable)
