HONOURING TRADITION, UPHOLDING SAFETY

 

Executive Mayor of Polokwane Municipality, Cllr Makoro John Mpe, paid his respects at the 2025 Pre-Initiation Season Workshop hosted by COGHSTA Limpopo.

This important gathering brought together traditional authorities, traditional surgeons and key stakeholders including Acting Premier Basikopo Makamu, MEC for Health Dieletseng Mashego, SAPS, the NPA and representatives of various meshate to prepare for a safe and dignified initiation season.

Executive Mayor Mpe expressed his support for cultural preservation, while also echoing the call for teamwork in ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all initiates.
