CITY OF STARS – 2025 MEN’S DIALOGUE AND WELLNESS DAY

Today, Polokwane Municipality turned Jack Botes Hall into a powerful gathering space of reflection, healing and purpose as it hosted the 2025 Men’s Dialogue and Wellness Day, an event thoughtfully crafted for men who are determined to make a positive difference in their homes, workplace and communities.

In a society where men often carry silent burdens, today’s dialogue opened the floor for honest conversations, courageous reflections and meaningful solutions. This platform was designed to help men voice out the issues that weigh heavily on their shoulders and to collectively explore better ways of dealing with the head-pounding challenges they face every day.

The session brought together representatives from across key sectors, including the Department of Health and Department of Social Development, forming a united front in supporting men’s mental, emotional and social wellbeing.

Throughout the programme, participants engaged on critical themes such as mental health, emotional intelligence and care-giving roles and family wellbeing.

Today’s dialogue was a step toward building healthier families, safer communities and a more compassionate society.
