GREENSIDE – Today, Wednesday, 15 April 2026, the wheels of participatory governance roll into Greenside (Ext 44) where ideas are tested against the lived realities of Ward 08.

Here, under the banner of SDA 1, the 2026/27 Draft IDP and Budget step out of documents and into dialogue. It is where spreadsheets meet streetlights, where projections shake hands with priorities and where the municipality listens as much as it leads.

Because a city is not built in boardrooms alone—it is shaped in conversations, refined in community halls and strengthened when its people lean in and say, “this is what we need, this is what we dream.”

And so today is not just another date on the calendar; it is a living chapter in the story of a city in motion – one voice, one ward, one vision at a time.
