TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION

 

Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has reported a stoppage at Pumpstation 3, following a power outage at Pumpstation 2 on the Olifantspoort supply line.

 

This incident has resulted in reduced water flow to Penina Park, Ivy Park, portions of Nirvana and Ivydale.

 

Lepelle Northern Water has already escalated the matter to Eskom and efforts are underway to restore power and normal operations.

 

In a separate incident, a leaking valve connection in Fauna Park has led to significant water losses. Emergency repair work is currently in progress, which has necessitated a temporary interruption of water supply to Flora Park, Moergloed and Fauna Park.

 

Water tankers will be deployed to provide temporary relief while restoration work continues.

 

The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused and appeals to residents for patience and understanding.
