HERITAGE IN OUR ROOTS, FUTURE IN OUR LEAVES

This morning, Executive Mayor Cllr Makoro John Mpe began his day at Bakgaga ba Mothapo Traditional Authorities, planting and donating 300 trees to celebrate Arbor Week and Heritage Month.

Under the theme “My Tree, My Oxygen”, the Executive Mayor reminded us that trees are nature’s beauty, life, shelter and legacy. Just as we plant trees to breathe, we also nurture our heritage to stay rooted as a people.

The City of Cleanliness growing a greener areas and honouring the living heritage that makes us who we are.
