[WATCH] GIFTING TREES, GROWING LEGACIES

Polokwane Municipality today is donating 30 trees to Eagle’s Nest Christian School in Myngenoegen AH, Dalmada, as the school celebrates 30 years of excellence in education.

This special gesture was inspired by Bohlale Seoloane, a learner from the school, who wrote to the Executive Mayor requesting trees as a birthday gift for the school. Bohlale shared that she has always drawn inspiration from the Executive Mayor’s call for people to celebrate life’s milestones by gifting one another with trees.

Representing the Executive Mayor at this occasion is the Member of Mayoral Committee on Community Services, Cllr Joosuf Pemma, who is encouraging learners to nurture the trees as symbols of growth, sustainability and hope for the future.
