TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CERTAIN LANES ON NELSON MANDELA DRIVE FOR MAINTENANCE WORK

 

Polokwane Municipality hereby informs members of the public about the temporary closure of certain lanes on Nelson Mandela Drive, between Rissik Street and Vermikuliet Street , due to essential road maintenance work.

 

The partial closure will be in effect from Wednesday, 16 July 2025 at 17h00 to Tuesday, 16 September 2025 at 17h00.

 

During this period, traffic will be redirected through the use of appropriate road signage to guide and manage flow along the affected stretch.

 

Motorists and road users are kindly urged to:
o Exercise patience and caution when travelling in the area,
o Use alternative routes where possible, and
o Plan their journeys in advance to avoid unnecessary delays.

The municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused.
