The Dap Naude Dam pipeline has been fixed and is supplying to Polokwane. Reservoirs are starting to recover while some areas are starting to receive water.
Areas receiving supply are urged to use water sparingly in order to assist reservoirs to pick up.
The municipality has dispatched water tankers to areas that are still experiencing water shortage.
Meanwhile, supply has also been restored to the Westenburg area after a pipe was accidentally damaged by the fibre cable contractor.
All users are urged to report water related challenges to temporary call centre number at 015 023 5376 / 015 023 5629 so that the municipality can respond promptly.
