Notice is hereby given in terms Section 21 of the Municipal Systems Act No: 32 of 2000, that Polokwane Municipal Council has adopted and approved the Draft POPIA Policy on the 27th of October 2023 for Public Comments for a period of 21 days.

Polokwane Municipality hereby invites interested stakeholders and members of the public to submit written comments and inputs on the Draft POPIA Policy. The Policy is amended to enhance Council's efficiency and effectiveness and align it with legislative developments.

The adopted draft POPIA Policy is available for download on Polokwane Municipality website: Hard copies of the draft POPIA policy are available at all Municipal Clusters Offices, Municipal Libraries and Polokwane Municipality Civic Centre first floor Records section during business hours of 07H45 to 16H30.

Members of the public and interested stakeholders are invited to probe and make written comments on the Draft POPIA Policy and submit to: Acting Manager: Information Communication Technology, Polokwane Municipality, P.O.
