Polokwane Municipality will close for the festive season for 06 working days starting from 24 December 2018 to 01 January 2019. This is in view of the fact that during this period most of the departments in the municipality are not active whilst others only require a skeletal staff complement to run operations.
Emergency and essential services like fire and rescue, water and sanitation, electrical services and traffic management will be available at all times to the community. Normal operations will resume on 02 January 2019.
Essential services staff will continue to render services for critical areas of work within the City during this period. Operating hours for the Rates Halls will be from 08h00 to 12h00 during this period.
