Polokwane is principally a fairly modern city that offers all the amenities to make any visit a pleasure, shopping facilities included. All the major national retail chains as well as some international outlets are on offer in the various Malls in and around this attractive city.
The Savannah Mall has recently undergone a make-over and has accommodated a broader range of shops designed to make shopping here a pleasure.  Home to all the major banks, several restaurants, a major supermarket, pharmacies and many clothing and home décor outlets, the mall also offers entertainment in the way of movie houses, music shops and video hire facilities. Game is a large discount chain in South Africa (and is now established in many other African Countries) and one of its largest stores is in Polokwane.  Very popular for its diverse range of products, it attracts visitors from Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mocambique.  The Game Centre is also home to Spar, a national supermarket chain, Sportsmans Warehouse, Incredible Connection an IT and Computer chain, a child and baby store, Maxi’s restaurant and many more.  Bordering the city centre, its ample parking a facilities and easy accessibility make it a popular port of call.

Once again, this centre has also undergone expansion and modernization.  Named after the national supermarket chain, Checkers, who are the anchor tenants in the centre, it also offers a book store, travel agency, fashion outlets and 3 @ 1, a postal and internet facility.  Situated in the heart of the city, it offers ample and secure parking and access to all the facilities that the city centre has to offer.  The provincial offices of all the major banks are within a five minute walk of the centre.



The Mall of the North in Polokwane offers you the biggest and best choice of retail goods, services, shopping and entertainment in the entire Limpopo province. It's big – the Mall of the North boasts over 180 retail outlets and enough parking for 4 500 cars. Mall of the North in Polokwane has become an icon of Limpopo's thriving capital city. The project has cost approximately 1,2 billion rand, which covered 75 000 square meters and it is builtt on a 27 hectare site on the border of the city.  It comprises of five anchor tenants, a number of national retailers, restaurants, an eight screen cinema and many line shops.  The Mall of the North accommodate the retail requirements of local residents and it is mata great attraction for visitors from Zimbabwe, Mocambique and Botswana, as well as overseas visitors.
